RRSS offered me a world-class education close to home. Throughout my five years here, highly qualified teachers provided interactive learning experiences. Without RRSS, I wouldn't be in the top law school in Malaysia now. "If I want, I surely can" is what I live by to this day.

I am Eddie Chung, a proud alumnus of Riam Road Secondary School (RRSS), here representing the class of 2017 to share my amazing experience being a student of the school from 2013 to 2017. I am currently a mechanical engineering undergraduate at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, after graduating from the partnering college of RRSS, Riam Institute of Technology.

I believed that studying in RRSS was the best decision I've ever made. I always felt proud of studying in RRSS as there were a lot of activities such as concert, food fair and lion dance which had provided opportunities to me to become a better leader.

I feel privilege to study in an environment where principal and teachers are amicable and supportive of students. I was a seasoned travellers going for tournaments throughout my secondary school years. Yet, my teachers cared for my learning going through the topics I missed patiently when I returned from tournaments. I thank the school for giving me the opportunity to take part in lion dance troupe for four consecutive Chinese New Years. It gave me the pride to be in the big team to raise funds for the school. From RRSS, I left with leadership skills as well as the knowledge needed for college. As of now, I am doing A Level at Riam Institute of Technology in the hope to enter the university of my choice.
